Takaful Oman, a pioneer of Takaful services donated its Ramadan Charity Drive contributions of RO 2,527 to Dar al Atta’a as part of its CSR initiative. During the holy month of Ramadan, Takaful Oman had committed to donate RO 1 to Dar al Atta’a for every motor policy sold. Fulfilling this commitment, Takaful Oman handed over the cheque for the amount of RO 2,527 to Dar Al Atta’a in a ceremony officiated by senior management from both institutions. This CSR initiative by Takaful Oman was aimed at contributing towards the upliftment of the needy in a meaningful way.
Speaking on the occasion OG Ravishankar, General Manager, Takaful Oman said “This CSR initiative is special to us because it is something that aligns with our core values of sharing and the holy month of Ramadan was the perfect time to share and reflect about those who are in need. By setting aside a Rial on every policy we have signed up, we feel humbled to contribute to our community in a special way. Thanks to Dar Al Atta’a for supporting us and ensuring it reaches out to the people who need it the most.”

Takaful Oman Insurance SAOG, the newest entrant in Oman’s insurance sector, and the sultanate’s first fully-fledged Islamic risk protection provider opened its first branch office at Nizwa. The branch was inaugurated by H E Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad al Saadi, Governor of Dakhiliya region. In the presence of the company’s chairman Sheikh Rashid bin Saif al Saadi and Sayyida Rawan Ahmed al Said, managing director and CEO. members of the senior management of Takaful Oman Insurance were also present at the occasion. Sheikh Rashid bin Saif al Saadi, chairman of Takaful Oman said “Since our inception we have received very encouraging response from our customers. Personalised service and our emphasis on transparency has earned us both name and respect in the market. We believe that we can replicate this success across Oman and therefore our new branch which just opened in Nizwa can be seen as a small step towards the big leap of reaching out to customers across Oman.” Speaking on the occasion Sayyida Rawan Ahmed al Said, managing director and CEO of Takaful Oman said “Our new branch is a stellar example of how we stand by our promises. We started with an aim to serve value-based, holistic products which would not only grow the company but also meet the needs of customers in the best way possible. And today I can confidently say that we are on the right track and are making huge strides in meeting our business goals while focusing on our commitment to the Omani community at large. The opening of our first branch at Nizwa is also symbolic keeping in mind our intention to spread the Takaful concept right across the country.” The company’s plans are currently underway to further expand the branch network to Sohar while designating authorised agencies in Al Khoudh and in Al Khuwair.
