🎯 Objectives

• Appoint a qualified External Shariah Auditor to conduct a Shariah compliance audit.
• Audit to be performed onsite (Muscat HQ & branches) and offsite as required.
• Deliver a comprehensive audit plan, schedules, milestones, and final report with findings, evidence, and recommendations.
• Report to be submitted to: Board of Directors & Shariah Supervisory Committee & Financial Services Authority (FSA)

📑 Scope of Work

• Verify Shariah compliance of products, contracts, financial transactions, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure implementation of Shariah Supervisory Committee decisions.
• Confirm compliance with Takaful Law & Regulations.
• Check adherence to directives of the Supreme Shariah Supervisory Committee (FSA).
• Address regulator-specific matters.
• Meet with Shariah Supervisory Committee before finalizing the report.
• Respond to FSA requests regarding the Shariah audit.

👥 Professional Resources

• Auditor must deploy qualified personnel with relevant expertise.
• CVs of personnel must be submitted for approval before deployment.
• No replacement of key personnel without prior consent.
• Ensure adequate resources and compliance with company policies.
• Company reserves the right to demand replacement/removal of personnel if performance is unsatisfactory.

📊 Evaluation Criteria

• Technical Proposal: 50% weightage
• Commercial Proposal: 50% weightage
